Puur Media produceert vierde korte speelfilm Dood Door Schuld ?   Synopsis Dood door schuld. Charlie rijd in zijn auto en ziet hij een voetganger volledig  over het hoofd. Hij raakt de vrouw. Na vier nominaties en een reisje langs de diverse bioscopen in Europa keert de docu Het Nieuwe Eten met Jonathan Karpathios weer terug in Nederland en heeft VPRO beslote deze uit te zenden tijdens het programma Makers van morgen. Naast het publiceren  en uitzenden van de docu heeft de VPRO ook een goed interview afgenomen waarin de visie van Puur Media  goed belicht wordt  deze is te vinden op hun  2doc website Ik ben trots en dankbaar dat de VPRO me heeft toegevoegd aan de groep jong en tallenvolle regisseurs de 2Doc Makers van morgen. twintig studenten en dr. Cameron Owens met Benny op het dak strand  In mei 2017, startten twintig studenten en dr. Cameron Owens Associate Teaching Professor van de Universiteit van Victoria (Canada) aan  een reisstudie avontuur. Na een week in Victoria te verblijven, reizen ze van de Pacific Northwest naar het Atlantische Noordwesten, een maand lange route van Parijs naar Kopenhagen. Onderweg zullen ze stadsplanners, ontwerpers, activisten, gemeenschapsleiders,  academici ontmoeten, als ook anderen die zich bezighouden met de ontmoedigende  sociale en ecologische crisissen die zich binnen steden plaatsvinden. Deze  week hebben ze de 'set' van Pure Media bezocht, waar in de afgelopen vier jaar de Documentaire CityRoofTops is gefilmd.
